This is a part of an ongoing research at Tel-Aviv University.
This research involve stages of spatial creation, exploration and analysis.
I created a Grasshopper code which builds a city from scratch that comply with the research’s required parameters, and another code that adds sidewalks, islands or squares between any collection of buildings.
The newly created model is then loaded in Unity, where I created a simulation with cars, pedestrians and an interactive scenario that is scheduled to connect the player with NPCs. The simulation allow subjects to explore the city in VR, while recording head movement and converting all visuals in field-of-view to numbers for later analysis.
The analysis stage is still in process.
